Counting on You As we look back on 19 years of efforts to help assemble the Rivers Edge Trail, we thank you and the hundreds of people who have helped over the years, to grow the trail into a treasured community asset. We are pleased with what has been accomplished so far and are hopeful that year 20 will be one of continued progress. Much work remains to complete several core trail segments and create safe bicycle and pedestrian connections to all Great Falls and Black Eagle neighborhoods. We are asking for your support again so that we can continue to be a contributing partner in this on-going community effort. The City of Great Falls, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, Montana Department of Transportation and PPL Montana, working with our trail support group and many other partners have created over 40 miles of great public trails in the Great Falls area since 1990. Recreational Trails, Inc. (RTI) is an all-volunteer 501 c3 non-profit corporation that works to obtain and match state and federal trail grants and works with community agencies and partners to develop, extend, enhance, maintain and promote Rivers Edge Trail. RTI can leverage your donation with federal trail grants. For every $13.42 in public donations we raise, federal trail grants will provide $86.58. Your donation goes a long ways. It can also help us complete a wide variety of trail maintenance, planting, weed control and trail improvement projects. Your gift to Rivers Edge Trail is tax deductible. Please contact Doug Wicks at 406.788.3313 RTI has established a Rivers Edge Trail Endowment Fund and will accept and manage Charitable Gift Annuities. Please consider these ways to help build a world-class trail and greenway system in Great Falls. Please contact Debbie Corn at 406.761.8265 With your help we can make 2010 the most productive year in the history of Rivers Edge Trail. Please help us if you can.
